The Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit with the Anti-Corruption Court on June 26, 2026, within the framework of the authority to protect state (community) interests, against the Sevan community and an individual regarding the auction of two plots of land: one with a cadastral value approximating a market value of 982,080 drams, measuring 1240 sq. m, located at 8, 2nd Alley, 11th Street of Chkalovka community, and the other with a cadastral value approximating a market value of 2,376,000 drams, measuring 3000 sq. m, located at 3, 2nd Alley, 11th Street of Chkalovka community, demanding the annulment of the auctions held on December 30, 2009, and the sales contracts concluded based on them.

 

The Anti-Corruption Court's decision on October 7, 2026, upheld the Prosecutor General's lawsuit.

 

After the judicial act enters into legal force, two plots of land measuring 3240 sq. m will be returned to the Chkalovka community of Gegharkunik Province.
